Book Review She Stood By Me

This book clearly states it is based on true events

This is a love story of Abhishek & Aparna with some more characters to back them up

The title She Stood By Me totally justified it’s words truly she stood by him in every situation and helped his lover pull them up every time.

The book started with fun but is a slow paced novel.

This love story beautifully covers phases of love and is a blend of traditional and modern culture.

Long Distance relationship, Financial problems, parents’ pressure is what makes a love story interesting.

At times I was thinking that this will be the end of their relationship but mark my words the title clearly stayed strong every-time she stood by him and found a way out of every problem.

This book lime lights the facts that for this generation’s youth, the meaning of love is always love and love and not a ‘love relationship’.

You can find a person one day with one and next day the other its more of a number in brain than chemistry in heart and finding a perfect match and dedicating your life to one and only one is really a tough job in the present scenario.

As the book says “Love is not a Relationship”

As couple has a couple friend here they were Manish and Nidhi, were playful and supportive and their roles were perfectly defined especially Manish’s. There arrival brings a charm in the novel.

Then there was a phase where they have to maintain a long distance relationship which is really challenging for every couple on Earth. It takes a huge heart and trust to stay strong in those days but this couple taught how to deal with it.

Focusing on career and still managing love life is what I appreciate in this love story.

I must say the quality of pages and cover is smooth and fine.

The writing style of author in dialogue will help a beginner to understand what he is reading.

The story line is slow paced and sometimes I felt the author is dragging things which was losing my interest and it is a typical Indian love story so one can predict the upcoming events.

It picks up its grip from somewhat chapter 15 or 17.

All in all this novel was giving me a vibe of watching movie.
